2nd day in Sydney.

So a little update. We are looking for an apartment and in the beginning it seemed pretty easy. We got a lot of calls back about cheap apartments in the heart of the city. But they turned out to be disatrous. Dissappointment after dissapointment when we realized that the landlord wanted us to share the apartment with 10 other people. 3 bedroom apartment with two showers for 12 people is not your ideal housing situation. So we're still looking. We got two viewings tonight so hopefully this will be something.

Last night was awesome. It was great seeing Isabel again! We went over to her house (amazing house) in newtown. The house even had a tower where we went up so we could see the entire Sydney. She cooked delicious pasta for us and we were just reminiscing about the days in Paris and made plans to go on a roadtrip to Melbourne in the future months. Then we headed out to some bars. Newtown has a great nightlife. Then Carolina and I took the bus back to the city which took 5 minutes and met up with the swedish crew and some really weird randoms at Scuba bar. The most turistic bar there is in Sydney. Backpackers only. Then met up with Danny and friend and went back to theirs for some card games. The lack of cards made it a little bit harder to play but you'll be amazed of what you can come up with creativitly if you really want to. We came back to the hostel around lunchtime and I had a delish salad from Sumosalad. Now we're getting ready to see yet another apartment. Wish us luck.
